Animal upgrades are confirmed to increase income, but that does not mean the most expensive upgrade is the best value. Use the upgrade payback calculator when you have comparable before-and-after income values. Base capacity and flight access solve different problems, so a Cash-only comparison cannot rank every purchase.

Animals earn Cash, and upgrading them boosts income. To compare purchases fairly, use the income gain from the purchase, not the Animal’s entire existing income.
